(BOSTON) - This week, the Metropolitan Beaches Commission (MBC) announced the selection of State Representative Joan Meschino (D-Hull) as a House Vice-Chair for the 2023-2024 legislative session. The Metropolitan Beaches Commission was created in 2006 by the Massachusetts Legislature to provide oversight to the Boston area's 15 public beaches, including those in the town of Hull which are managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). MassDFS Announces FY23 Firefighter Safety Equipment Grants to Fire Departments in 3rd Plymouth District

(BOSTON) - This morning, the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services under the Baker-Polito Administration announced $5 million in grant funding to over 300 municipalities under the Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant Program. Among these municipalities were Cohasset, Hingham, Hull, and Scituate.
